Riots happen for many reasons. Regime changes, economic hardhsip, and if you're in France, they upped the retirement age by a day. As such law enforcement, especially those in France, must be ready to handle riots whenever they might occur. As such a good helmet for protecting your head from rocks, bricks, and other debirs was a necessicty. You can protect your head in a similar way with this French Police (Gendarmerie) Riot Helmet! This helmet is made of steel with an inner liner made of plastic and foam with a leather chin strap. There is a Republic of France insignia on the front of the helmet. This helmet has seen use, as it has three noticeable dents and noticible scratches, but the paint job has held up and is still in wearble condition!
