Powder Horn 1792? Repaired? Pennsylvania Dutch? Nice folk art. Real Cow Horn. Hand made. No sandpaper marks, only some file marks. Small bit of epoxy or glue on horn, and top painted an old green color that seals the top on. Has steel brads on hand fitted wooden top. There was a "G.L. Bowers" during the American Revolution War Era. There were Bowers (originally "Bauer", German for farmer now with new English spelling) in PA and NC. I am getting it appraised not for sale till I confirm it is 1792 vintage.
