The 6mm Remington was developed by necking down a 257 Roberts to accept a .24 caliber (6mm) bullet. It was released for commerical production in the early 1950s with mixed results in terms of popularity and success. It was well known for being a low recoil round that could be approriatley used on white-tail deer, pronghorn antelope, and varmints.

For sale here is a vintage box of Remington Power-Lokt 6mm Remington cartridges. The vintage box (which is in OK condition, with a crack/tear on the side) contains 20 6mm Remington hollow point 80 grain rounds.
