WWII was a time of great turmoil for the nations of Europe. Blitzkreigs, air-raids, and paratroopers might show up at anytime. As such countries had to be prepared to defend themselves at a moments notice. Switzerland, as nation that is both small and neutral, was no exception, and they were prepared to protect their troops with the M18-40 helmet! 

For sale here is a M18-40 Swiss Helmet that we believe to have been produced in the early to mid 1940's. It comes with a two sided cover featuring a different kind of camo on each side. The leather and string inside the helmet has held up well.  While there are multiple scratches and marks on the inside of the helmet the outside appears to still be in great condition with the original paint-job intact.
