USA 1912 War Maneuvers service medal, made by Schwabbs and Sons Company, with lord's Prayer

On August 9th, 1912 the U.S. Army began arriving in Stratford, at the railroad station to setup Camp Lee at Paradise Green.  The Army conducted the first war game exercises to include aircraft.  The encampment remained from August 9th through August 19th.

In the center is a brass circle with a soldier carrying a rifle. Surrounding this circle are triangular shaped pieces with military symbols in each. Crossed cannon, rifles, sabers, an anchor, and a hunting horn. On reverse in brass center is inscribed the Lord’s Prayer
