Product Description

For sale here is a truly unique item! This is "trench art", a term from post WWI that describes art (usually made by current or former soldiers) who used items found on the battlefield to make works of art! This particular piece was made by a gentleman named Mr. Switeer who was part of a Sherman tank crew. It has a brass base mounted on wood with stamps and markings that read "CARL VINSON", "50 CAL FIRED", "WW2 GERMANY 1945", "7988T" "TRPA 116 CAV" and "CV70". It showcases two 76mm shells and a smaller shell we can't quite identify. Actual weight 1lb.

The perfect gift for lovers of unique art and WWII memorabilia!
