Though they saw a decrease in popularity with the advent of affordable and easy to acquire pump actions, semi-automatics, and over-unders they are seeing a bit Renaissance, especially with upland bird hunters and those who enjoy vintage style shotguns.

Now is your chance to enter the world of side-by-sides with this affordable, yet reliable Savage Fox Model B-SE Series H side by side shotgun!

Savage Arms purchased the A.H. Fox Company in 1929. They kept the A.H. Fox gun in production until Second World War. Despite the fact that A.H. Fox had been shut-down their name had become synonymous with good quality shotguns, and as such Savage revived the Fox shotguns under the Fox Model B series which remained in production until 1986. They were available in 410, 20, 16, and 12 gauge with varying chamber and barrel lengths. 

This Savage Fox Model B-SE Series H 12 Gauge was manufactured between 1950-1960 and is still in great condition. It is chambered in 12 gauge and takes 2 3/4in shells. Barrels are 28in long and the shotgun has an overall length of 45in. Length of pull is 14in, with a drop at comb of 1.5in, and a drop at heel of 2.5in. The wood is in fantastic shape with only two HARDLY noticable scratches. The barrels have some scratches throughout. Left barrel has a modified choke, the right has an improved cylinder. Comes with two beads. This Savage Fox Model B is a single trigger version.

This is an excellent purchase for those looking to get into vintage double barrels on a budget!
