Up for auction here is a unique single rifle! This is a single shot "German Stalking Rifle". These rifles had uniquly shaped stocks, short barrels, and were light weight  for hunting small and medium sized game in the forests and mountains or Germany and Austria. This rifle is chambered in 25-30 and has a 21in barrel (which probably makes more sens ein metric). Numbers "4295" appear to be stamped underneath the stock. Wood shows moderate wear from use and age. Metal shows some mild discoloration from age and use. Inside of the barrel is in great condition (see pictures). A more modern scope mount was added by its previous owner.
