Sold Marlin 1881, .38-55, bore is dark no pitting, folding rear tang sight, a couple scratches in the wood but overall very nice.  The right side of the frame has good traces of original finish remaining and the left side has 80%.  The blue on the octagon barrel is good turning a very nice plum.  The markings are still clear and quite readable.  The lever has strong case color on the left and is somewhat lighter on the right side.  The action is very good.  A great example of a classic Marlin. no FFL required.
