Parker Bros, based out of Hartford CT, was known to be one fo the finest producers of American double barrel shotguns. They began by producing rifles for the Union during the American Civil War but quickly tranistioned into high quality shotguns. From 1867-1942 they produced over 200,00 shotguns including 8,19,11,12, 14, 16, 20, 28 gauges and 410 bore firearms. They were purchased by Remington in the 1930's and shut down in 1942. For sale here is the front half of a Parker Bros shotgun (MEANT FOR PARTS). Included in this front half is the reciever, action release, the safety, the extractor, the forearm, and the barrels. The barrels measure 30in. There are moderate amounts of scratches on the forearm, and discoloration throughout the barrels. Based on the serial number (97193) we have determined that this front half was produced in 1900. YOU WILL NEED AN FFL for this item. An excellent purchase for those looking for parts for their Parker Bros or those who wish to "build" a Parker Bros.
