Spanish American War or WWI US Army or US Marine Gun emplacement Reserve Lamp, read label on unit. The original 4 batteries are long gone.
Construction is hard to believe, the unit weight is 13 pounds by itself. 10" high 8.5" wide 12.5" front length.
Lamp Glass is an amazing 1/4 inch to protect the lamp. I have never seen one of these units.
It was made by "Q & W, MANUFACTURNING" sadly with no date. Old, Heavy and Beautifully made! Oak and Brass though out! Comes with an assortment of old vintage light bulbs.
From a family collection of keep sakes and Span. Amer. & WWI militaria that belong to their Grandfather who is over 90 years old. No more info than that at this time.
