Civil War era Austrian bayonet for a Lorenz rifle (1854 type), with scabbard and leather covering still intact . There is a stamp of four letters and numbers on hilt of the Bayonet. And two letters stamped on the scabbard, a “ S “ and a smaller “ w”. The Lorenz was used by both the Blue and the Grey. A nice and very rare piece of America Civil War history.
